Canon Pixma MX850 All
Canon Pixma MX850 All In One Product Review
Looking for a new fax machine or a new printer for your home or office? Take a look at the Canon Pixma MX850! About 6 weeks ago that is the position that I was in. I knew that I needed to find one pretty quickly because I use it in my home office. Instead of getting just a “one trick pony” I found a multi-tasking marvel, the Canon Pixma MX850. When I first saw this online it caught my eye and I began to do a little investigating of my own.
When watching pennies is important you always do your homework before making a decision and I was soon able to discover just how much time and effort the Canon Pixma MX850 printer would save me. Since this is a multi-purpose machine it is able to handle faxes and printing with ease, but it also has scanning capabilities. I was sold, and to top things off the price was low enough to make me glad to make the deal.
When I first got my new Canon Pixma MX850 All In One it fit neatly onto the work surface of the desk. It is lightweight and mobile which adds to its versatility. It is less than a foot high and only 20 inches long and the depth is just 19 inches. This compact size makes it a perfect choice for any small workspace or desktop.
With the Canon Pixma MX850 All In One you have a miser when it comes to ink usage. I found that there 2 black cartridges in the unit and one is used solely for Fax purposes while the other is used for photos and the printing of documents. I am able to get over 1100 pages of faxed material on just one black ink cartridge. The Canon Pixma MX850 is an exceptional bargain and I am paying less than 2 cents per page. I am really excited about the inclusion of a dedicated ink cartridge for the faxed material.
The colored inks that are required by the Canon Pixma MX850 are used just as efficiently and you even have ink level indicators that show you when you have less than 50% remaining. Right now I have printed over 150 pictures and I still have more than 50% of the colored inks remaining. All of the ink cartridges cost me less than $50 and this means that my photo printing costs are about 20-25 cents each. This is still a great bargain.
In this Canon Pixma MX850 review, you’ll see that it reads all of the photo memory cards which make the downloading of your pictures a simple task. The card reader is located just behind a cover at the front of the machine and is always convenient and easy to use. It takes about a minute or less to print out a picture and you can even choose a borderless print style.
